With a summer of studying for the bar looming, it occurred to us that this is the perfect opportunity to devote the time and attention necessary to one of the driving forces behind American popular culture: Nick Cage. The Cage has brought us such tours de force as "Windtalkers," "The Wicker Man," and "Bangkok Dangerous." With approximately 65 titles credited to The Cage as an actor, and a similar number of days to be spent tediously studying for the bar, we will be undertaking a feat of cinematic endurance by viewing and reviewing a Nick Cage film every day.
This is not simply a vehicle to re-hash plot lines and regurgitate movie quotes; instead, this blog will attempt to use The Cage's roles as a portal to peer into the symphonic movements of the life and times of one of this generation's most confoundingly talented actors.
